What is not included?
There are some popular attractions that are not covered by the City Card. Many travellers also book the following sights and tours:
Golden Circle Tour
The Golden Circle is Iceland's most popular sightseeing route, starting and ending in Reykjavík. Over a distance of around 250 kilometres, visitors experience three main attractions: the Þingvellir National Park, where the tectonic plates meet, the impressive Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area with the active Strokkur geyser.
The tour usually lasts 6-8 hours and, in addition to the main sights, also offers stops such as the Kerið volcanic crater or the opportunity to relax in the Secret Lagoon. Visitors can look forward to breathtaking natural phenomena, historical sites and the unique landscape of Iceland.

Day trip to the south of Iceland
Day trips to the south of Iceland from Reykjavík offer visitors an impressive variety of natural wonders. The tours run along the picturesque south coast and usually include stops at the majestic waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss as well as the black sand beach Reynisfjara near Vík.
Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of glaciers such as Sólheimajökull and the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. The journeys usually take 10 to 14 hours and offer a perfect mix of impressive landscapes, waterfalls, black sand beaches and glaciers that represent the rugged beauty of Iceland.

Airport bus
The Flybus airport transfer in Reykjavík offers a cheap and convenient way to get from Keflavík International Airport to the city centre. The buses depart right outside the terminal and are timed to coincide with the arrival times of all flights, so travellers can usually find a bus within 35 to 40 minutes of landing.
The journey to BSÍ bus station in the centre of Reykjavík takes between 50 and 90 minutes, depending on traffic. For added convenience, Flybus also offers a hotel shuttle service that provides a direct connection to nearby accommodation.
